MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD WAS FILLED WITH MUSIC, IMAGINATION, AND MAGIC…

...and I have not grown out of it. I have loved music for as long as I can remember, our family went on road-trips often and my parents had “Wee Sing” cassettes for the long car rides to keep us occupied. “Wee Sing” was a series of varying cassette tapes with children’s songs that were paired with a booklet of sheet music. To my parents surprise, a few years later in 2001 I joined my 4th grade honors choir. The summer of 2002 my parents signed me up for a Missoula Children’s Theatre production of “Treasure Island” where I landed my very first onstage role as Male Villager #12. I was instantly hooked.

From there I took regular summer courses at Seattle Children’s Theatre, while still being regularly involved with my school choirs. In 2006 I had my first big audition for my high school’s production of “The Sound of Music”. I gladly accepted a role as one of the unnamed nuns in the choir. Summer of 2007 I moved to a small town in Eastern Washington, Dayton, and had my first community theatre audition for “Beauty and the Beast” with The Liberty Theater. I played chorus member/ribbon girl and happily enjoyed my very first production acting alongside adults! I finally landed my first supporting role the following year (2008) as Chavaleh in “Fiddler on the Roof”, and my senior year (2009) as Lady Larken in “Once Upon A Mattress”. My senior year was also my final year with Seattle Children’s Theatre, where I played The Black Queen in “Alice and Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass”.

I then went on to major in Theatre at The College of Idaho (‘15) where I had many opportunities in music and theatre. I started classical voice lessons with Dr. Mari Jo Tynon, was involved in the opera program, choir program, and of course the school’s theatre productions. During my time in college I started branching out to professional theatre companies in Boise and accepted my first title role as Veronica Livingstone in HomeGrown Theatre’s, “Veronica Livingstone, I Presume?”. While actively pursuing theatre opportunities, I was involved in a start-up opera production company called Opera Elect. I directed their first two original productions and am now Managing Director for the company as we continue to grow.

I continue to stay involved with HomeGrown Theatre and Opera Elect, as well as varying experiences with other professional theatre companies. You can view these details in my resume. Besides acting and singing I have also modeled for Hill Street Studios and Anja Stoll Photography. I am also a cast member with EverAfter Enchantments, a party princess company. For social media, you will find the links at the bottom of this page.

About me personally there’s not much to tell! Art is my life. Besides art I enjoy reading, I have quite the book collection! I also enjoy video games, movies, and tv shows on a regular basis. I am huge into outdoors, I ski, hike, and run. I am happily married to Andrew and we have a cat, Bilbo Baggins, and a dog, Samus Aran (who has her own Insta!). In our perfect world we would be running a remote bed and breakfast complete with hobbit homes, a library/wizard tower, and lots of land and animals. Andrew is an artist in his own way and is very supportive of me and my artistic endeavors and I am so lucky to have swiped right.

LOVE,

Edith Grace
